First nothing is wrong in the photo being a cosplay guy in a airport photo there is no problem. Second it has shown the plane in the picture there should be no problem without a runway and terminal do not mean it’s not a airport. And for the people that have racist eye to Asia go wash your eyes, Asia could have trash on the street it's not a big deal you could still clean it up and insure it’s clean the next time, second could you ensure that in your country there is no trash on the street? And for those spotters with racist view on Asia spotters you might don’t know about asia and asia spotters. To elaborate and to correct my earlier comment, the reason why we all may feel that this is unjust is also because we did read the guidelines and followed it as best as we can. But we saw irregularities and even departures from The guideline. For this shot, we should classify it as bad motive because where is the overview of the airport? Also, This photo merely shows just one person posing with a camera while a plane takes off. It may do in a competition for creativity but it doesn't fly for motive. It doesn't truly show a person plane spotting. Just because one person holds a camera and pose, does not meant its a spotting spot. Does it cover a wide view of the area to include other people "spotting"? I don't think so. And from the guidelines, the camera is focusing on the cosplayer. Not the plane. That is already a clear violation for motive. In addition, the shot is top lit which is often an invitation for rejection. But this gets accepted. Its the quality and purpose of this shot. It tells nothing. I merely see a cosplayer posing for the plane taking off. It does not tell me fully that its a spotting spot for i see no wider and bigger angle of the spot. If there is wider view like people gather there to spot(unrecognisable of course) or just to see planes taking off, that's truly a plane spotting location. The issue is not about dirty spotting spots, or poor acceptance rates or long waiting times. Its the wonton irregularities of uploads we see which makes us frustrated and angry at times. And let's not get started about racism, or sensitive when you don't know the true reason why. May 10, 2023
