Though by the 2020s Alaska had downsized the OAK operation, ending all routes except for SEA/PDX and all Q400 services as well, OAK still did see the occasional Q400 on aircraft swaps when E175s weren't available. Here is one such swap with the Oregon State University Beavers Q400 starting up on a foggy night preforming a PDX roundtrip usually flown by a Horizon Air E175. A CRJ-700 once wore this same special livery in the 2000s. Q400s were sadly retired from Horizon Air fleet in early 2023 after 23 years of service with the airline.
