Scanned from a negative / A sad at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in June 1991 was this line up of Eastern Air Lines B727-200 series following the bankruptcy of the airline on 19th January of the same year. As part of the announcement on that day, 5'000 out of 18'000 employees lost their job immediately, others were told not to report to work unless they were told to do so while others were told to report to work at their regular times. The Eastern shutdown eliminated many airline industry jobs in the Miami and New York City areas
