Fire-fighting version of the Mi-6 Hook, (the largest helicopter in the world until the commissioning of its "cousin" Mi-26), was equipped with an internal tank with a capacity of 12,000 liters that evacuated with some precision due to the mobile hydrant that can be seen in its bow, achieved a well-known fame in the Chernobyl nuclear accident in April 1986.
