[1920px] This A340 was a nice surprise here! Fortaleza was the South American city chosen to host the World Marathon Challenge competition this year. This Plus Ultra bird arrived from Madrid, bringing in the athletes of the marathon. It was supposed to arrive in daylight on the previous day, but the schedule got badly delayed and the flight arrived late at night on Feb 06th. The departure to Miami was also very delayed, but fortunately they left by the afternoon in a kinda good light, despite the mostly cloudy day. Anyway, it's good to see the A340-300! This one is ex-Air France machine (ex-F-GNII) and the livery of AF can still be seen very faintly beneath the Plus Ultra markings.
