The day I've been waiting for the longest time has finally come as Starlux Airlines have successfully launched their inaugural flight Today, 17JAN23 at MCIA after almost three years of pending due to pandemic. Cebu were supposed to be their fourth destination and originally to commence flights between Taipei and Cebu last April 06, 2020 but due to the effect of the falling demand and heightening restrictions of Taiwan and the Philippines during covid-19 outbreak, they indefinitely postponed the inauguration. Starlux will be the third Taiwanese' Full Service Carrier to operate and compete the Taipei-Cebu route daily along with China Airlines and Eva Air that will help to contribute, give a way in attaining a road to recovery of the airport and establishes a wider connection overseas. A very much welcome to Cebu Starlux Airlines!
