An incredibly sad sight to see, white painted 'X' marks along the runway at Doncaster Sheffield Airport denoting its full closure. With the CTA/CTR/ATZ deactivated, airspace at Doncaster Sheffield Airport reverted to Class G on 7th December 2022 at 0900 as per the most recent published NOTAM. There is a small glimmer of hope the airport can be saved but for now the skies are sadly quiet with our memories of past aircraft movements.
