[1600px] Hanoi has been a destination served by Cathay's now defunct subsidiary - Cathay Dragon (Dragonair) - for as long as I can remember. But since the demise of the red-tailed brushwing in 2020 after the onset of the COVID pandemic, Cathay has since taken the Vietnamese capital back on the mainline route map, serving Noi Bai Airport up to twice daily. B-LAO, one of 40 A330-300s currently in the fleet, is seen here moments after docking up on stand 31, after a sub-2 hour flight from Hong Kong as CX743. An EVA Air B77W is also seen in the background taxiing off to the active runway.
