[1920px] The glorious MD-11 is certainly one of the most elegant commercial planes ever built. As of November 2022, only three airlines still operate this fine jet: FedEx, UPS and Western Global. Catching this gorgeous FedEx MD-11F was surely a big highlight for me during my quick planespotting afternoon in Orlando, a very happy catch! "Irina" is seen here enjoying the ground effect before touchdown on Runway 36L. I almost missed this bird due to a misjudged turn while driving to this location, but thankfully I arrived right in time. This one was delivered to American Airlines as N1754 in 1992 and, after only four years hauling passengers, was converted to cargo and handed to FedEx. Great to see her still on her duty! Long life to these beautiful triholers.
