Notes:

Departing San Diego Int'l via ZZOOO3 procedure, with extremely good visibility (furthest landmark nearly 100 miles away, Mt. San Jacinto). Mission bay (VOR identifier MZB) in the middle, with Mt Solidad and Scripps Pier to its upper left. On the right, from bottom to up (south to north), are San Diego Int'l, Montogomery-Gibbs airfield, and MCAS Miramar. On the upper right of ground, are Fortuna Mt, Palomar Mt, and San Jacinto, from near to far. Note the low-level marine layer being burnt out near the coast, which led to very low visibility on the ground before we took off. I was monitoring the frequencies on the ground and heard that our caption said that he could see nothing and was not able to follow the taxiing traffic, while the controller said he had 10-mile visibility on the east can could see the mountains from the tower.
