Brand new Typhoons Tranche 4 standard, and readily wired and configured for the new (AESA) active electronically scanned array radar, transitting through Malta in August 2022, on their way to the Qatari Emiri Airforce. Imminent integration of the new BVR (beyond visual range) medium/longe range Meteor air-to-air missile, all weather SPEAR III (select precision extended range) as a follow on, to the Brimstone air-to-ground missile, which is also capable against moving targets, Paveway IV, the new Litening IV laser guidance/ search/track pod, and the newest longer range cruise missiles soon advancing on the present Storm Shadow. I am still not savvy on, if the Qataris are going for the new Block 6 Asraam with its 25 miles extended range, or the Iris-T, as their preferred short range air-to-air missile.
