The Argosy was designed with hinged front and rear cargo doors, and the Flight Deck placed above the front cargo compartment. [No Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IPBs) in sight!] IPEC later operated McDonnell Douglas DC-9-33RC VH-IPC MSN 47193 from Tullamarine YMML. [Ditto – Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC)]. Argosy VH-IPB was retired and scrapped less than 3 years later.
