One of the finest warbirds around!! This Supermarine 361 Spitfire LF.XVIe (OO-XVI; msn:CBAF.IX.4756; code: SL721/GE-S) posed for the photographers during the Ursel Avia Spottersday 2022. The Spitfire Mk XVI was produced as a derivative of the Mk IX, primarily as a low-level fighter aircraft and as a bomber. The main difference was its American Packard Merlin 266 engine instead of the Rolls-Royce Merlin 66.
