Front Portside Formation flypast by a RAAF School of Air Navigation (SAN) HS-748 Four-ship ‘Howlettes’ Formation at Cooma Airport YCOM on 09Apr1988. Lead aircraft was HS-748 Srs2/228 A10-601 Cn 1601. Also, SAN HS-748 Srs2/228 A10-606 Cn 1606 was on static display when the ‘Howlettes’ Formation Flypast filled the sky. The Team name reflects the sound of eight Rolls Royce Dart engines –during ground operation (and in-flight) by the RAAF ‘Draggies’. Low res photo. Apologies for quality.
