Originally an RAAF aircraft, VH-TAK operated with Trans Australia Airlines from 1946 to 1971 being converted to a "Viewmaster" in 1966. Forrestair purchased it in 1974 and operated cargo flights to Tasmania until it was cancelled from the register in 1978 and stored in the Essendon Airport graveyard where it was eventually scrapped.
