Special plane - special story. Last year when I was here on holidays it was getting small mx done in CPH itself, so couldn't catch it. 8 months later I tried again knowing it's going to be replaced by the end of 2022, for me my only and last chance to have it. On the #1 try the plane could not land in SFJ and had to divert to KEF to be refueled and head back to CPH. All weather forecasts were giving blue skies all evening, but turned out to be grey out of a sudden the whole evening. #2 came in all the way from the sea in sunny circumstances, but when finally being in front of me the sun disappeared. #3 a CAVOK evening but the plane got delayed for 2 hours. #4 this time it was on schedule, and so were the clouds. A whole day of sun and of course 10 minutes upon arrival the clouds scattered in front of the sun, so again nothing for me. #5 a day were I never thought it could ever land in the sun, guess what...? An extremely lucky gap in between the rain and thunderstorms allowed me to finally catch my main goal of this trip in the most perfect conditions. The only plane of the evening in the sun, sometimes I don't get it anymore.. :-D Many thanks to DA for all the patience and attempts ;-)
