The famous "Showtime 112" on display at the San Diego Air and Space Museum. On January 19, 1972 and May 8, 1972 Lt Randall H. Cunningham and his RIO Lt William P. Driscoll downed MiGs in this Phantom. These were the first two of five MiG kills Cunningham & Driscoll would record becoming the only Navy aces of the Vietnam War. Built as a J model (and recorded both MiG kills as a J model), converted to an S model in 1975.
