Among other things, a replica of the Aero Ab-11 aircraft, which was an engine modification of the Aero A-11 aircraft, which was a continuation of the successful reconnaissance Aero A-12, is on display in Hall No. 18 of the VHU Aviation Museum Kbely. It differed from the A-11 by a Breitfeld-Dan?k Perun II engine, a front radiator equipped with louvers for regulating the cooling air and an extension of the canopy of the upper wing so that another fuel tank could be installed there. In the years 1925–1931, 84 of them were built in the Aero factory. With one Ab-11 from the first series, Capt. Vilém Stanovský with mechanic František Šimek in 1926 a promotional flight to Europe, North Africa and Asia Minor. They covered a distance of 15,070 km over 23 states and spent 91 hours and 52 minutes in the air. The Aero Ab-11, L-BUCD exhibited is a reconstruction of an aircraft with the original Perun II engine and carried out by the Trencin Aviation Repair Center in 1981. At the same time, the original radiator, propellers and some devices were used. The aircraft is in the form of a machine on which Vilém Stanovský undertook the mentioned promotional flight.
