"Boeing 701 Experimental" on final approach for runway 16L at the Fort Worth Alliance Airport after a short flight over from the Greenville Majors Airport 35 miles northeast of Dallas. The MAX 7 is one of a handful of aircraft that have visited the sleepy Texas town recently to conduct approaches and test possible interference in the presence of a 5G C-Band cell tower that's located near the airport. This particular airframe first took to the skies a staggering 1,482 days ago back in 2018, but the certification has been slowed dramatically in the wake of the MAX 8 accidents in 2019. Once certified, this MAX 7 is destined for its largest customer, Southwest Airlines.
