The Scaled Composites Model 351 Stratolaunch, affectionately known as "Roc" sits outside of its hangar at the Mojave Air & Space Port. This behemoth was initially intended to carry rockets up to cruise and then launch them into orbit, but has since been repurposed to launch hypersonic test vehicles for military and commercial research. Roc has the longest wingspan ever flown at 385 feet and has now flown a total 3 test flights at this point in time.
