Notes:

Preserved at Italian Air Force museum of Vigna di Valle; was part of a batch of 23 aircraft built by IMAM in the first half of 1937. He served on cruisers, participating among other things in the battle of Punta Stilo on 9 July 1940. He concluded his operational 'career' at the Maritime Observatory School of Orbetello, of which it still bears the codes ORB-23. Recovered in Rome Centocelle in 1972, the Ro.43 aircraft, entirely overhauled by the maintenance and restoration section of the Historical Museum, is the only existing model in the world.
