Notes:

FAMEX 2021 / MUMA [Museo Militar de Aviación] [1920px HD] / In broad terms, the PT-17 is an aircraft part of the Stearman 75 family that was widely used as a trainer for WW2. In this case, the Mexican Air Force purchased a total of 35 aircraft in 1957 with the purpose to train several generations of pilots. The "EPS" stands for Entrenador Primario Stearman, meaning they were used as the most basic pilot training. Along their operative life, they wore three liveries. The two most recent were yellow, whilst the pictured livery was their first, in cream colour: a unique choice for aviation in general. // They were retired in 1994 and of the 35 aircraft, several now remain in museums/displays within the country and some are still in flying condition. In general, after the war, this aircraft was widely used as a crop duster and acrobatic aircraft.
