Vertical aspect Wing View [showing Singapore's Changi Airport WSSS/SIN (Under Construction – with earthworks) visible below the B707’s Stbd Pratt & Whitney JT3D-3B engines]. Photo taken from RAAF 33 Flight Boeing 707-338C A20-624 Cn 19624, during an 8.5 hour flight from Sydney YSSY/SYD to Butterworth WMKB Malaysia on 05Dec1980. I was departing on a two year posting: to 478 Squadron - which supported two RAAF Mirage 3 Squadrons. The ‘camera platform’ would have been at about 30-33,000 feet altitude when one hour from destination.

To think how large Changi actually is now compared to the 1980s, very much different. Thank you for sharing this photo! It is lovely
