The aircraft wears original Green/Yellow ‘Plastic Parrot’ livery, which was then being replaced by a Hi-Viz Orange/White ‘Fanta Can’ livery. Allotted to 1FTS Point Cook 14Dec1981. On 01Feb1984 aircraft Ditched near Point Cook in Port Phillip Bay after ‘simulated’ engine failure. Airframe recovered from water (minus engine). Allotted to ARL on 27Jun1984 for Fatigue Testing. Returned to Point Cook Dec 1986, and Struck Off Charge Aug 1991. Ref: ADF-Serials.
