In the school version of the Mi-24 DU, a moving machine gun was launched and the second pilot-instructor took the place of the weapon systems operator. The first four Mi-24 Ds arrived at the 51st Helicopter Regiment at the airport in Prostejov on August 24, 1978. A total of 28 Mi-24 D helicopters and two Mi-24 DUs were delivered to Czechoslovakia. Helicopter fuselage number 6050 was manufactured in 1985 in the USSR and shortly thereafter handed over to Czechoslovakia. side and assigned to VU5621 Plzen-Line. He also served in the departments in Prostejov and Prerov and finally ended up in 2008 with VU5525 Namest nad Oslavou. He made his last flight on February 17, 2010. His total air raid was 2,827 h at 7,485 takeoffs. In the summer of 2011 it was transferred to the collections of the VHU and in August it was transported by land by members of the VU5525 Namest nad Oslavou to Prague-Kbely, where it was assembled and stored.
