Thanks for heads up buddy. I thought US sold her to S Korea after the war :P
Due to its age, what does the South Korean Air Force use it for? And if for whatever reason South Korea is involved in a war, would they deploy this phantom despite its age?
It's mainly a strike aircraft, if I'm not mistaken. Despite this jet being equipped with 2 AIM-9P air to air missiles (for combat air patrol duties), it would be used as a bombing and launch platform for the Popeye cruise missile. And yes, a modernized Phantom is more than enough competition for the vast majority of North Korea's fleet.
