F4 decelerates along runway 02Left on this second day of the Chinese Lunar New Year as seen from my hotel room at Crowne Plaza Changi Airport. This grand dame started out with EVA Airways as a passenger MD-11, B-16102, back in 1994. Now all of 26.6 years old, she has long since left F4 and is now N543JN with Western Global Airlines. At this time of writing, she has just departed Memphis on a cargo run to Honolulu as FX948. She has been much luckier than many of her contemporaries and successors in escaping the scrapper. I am most thankful for this dessert to my main course of TG retro jumbo HS-TGP this day so thank you Lord.
