This is the famous "Unsinkable Shiga in the Bay" A/C that belly-flopped into SFO Bay when in service with JAL in 1968. The crash did so little damage to the then-new airplane that it was repaired (by UA for a mere $4 million) and put back into service with JAL for another 14 years before being sold to various cargo operators including AX.
