After flying about 40 years, the only 727-100 left in Brazil claims for a rest. Lima Sierra had failure on engine #2 after departure from PVH and somebody decided finally her time of stop has come. This picture is my tribute to this plane, built in 1967, and I don´t know what is her future, but probably she won´t be delivered to another operator. I hope she hasn´t a terrible fate, not being scrapped. Farewell Victor Lima Sierra!! Thanks for four decades of great service and enjoy a peaceful rest that you deserve.
